Governance

Governors have an important and active role in the life of the school.  They have the responsibility for strategic development and are accountable for the school’s performance.  There is a committee structure that includes such aspects as finance, staffing, curriculum and health and safety.  Meetings take place regularly throughout the year and a set of the latest minutes is always available in the school office.  The Chair of governors provides a summary report of each meeting which can be found in the News section of the website.  The Governing Body is made up of representatives of the Local Authority, community, parents and staff.
