School Admissions Policy
As a community school, Surrey County Council is the admission authority for Prior Heath Infant School. Details of the admission arrangements are available here: Determined admission arrangements – Surrey County Council (surreycc.gov.uk).

September 2026 Admissions
The national offer day for September 2026 admissions is Thursday 16th April. If you have been offered a place at Prior Heath we will write to you during the week of 20th April with information about our induction process and timetable for September 2026.

Applying for a Reception place for September 2027
Please note that, as we are a community school, Surrey County Council is the admission authority for Prior Heath. If your child was born between 1st September 2022 and 31st August 2023, you will need to apply for a September 2027 Reception place in an infant or primary school between November 2026 and January 2027. Further information, including dates for our school tours, will be available in September 2026.

Waiting List
As a community school, Surrey County Council manage our waiting list. Your child’s name will be placed on the waiting list(s) of any Surrey community or voluntary controlled school which you listed as a higher preference on your application form. They will make primary offers as places become available and if your child is eligible for an offer they will contact you. Your child’s name will remain on the waiting list(s) until the end of the academic year.
