School Admissions Policy
As a community school, Surrey County Council is the admission authority for Prior Heath Infant School. Details of the admission arrangements are available here: Determined admission arrangements – Surrey County Council (surreycc.gov.uk).

September 2026 Admissions
During the autumn term, we will be running “talk and tour” sessions for parents who have children that will be starting school in September 2026. These sessions will be led by our Headteacher, Mrs Lindsey Chivers, who will give a talk about Prior Heath and this will be followed by a tour of the school and grounds.
Each session will last for approximately 1 hour and needs to be booked in advance. As these are quite formal sessions, we do request that children are not brought along please.

Monday 20th October 2025 at 9.15am
Friday 7th November 2025 at 9.15am
Tuesday 18th November 2025 at 5.30pm
Wednesday 3rd December 2025 at 9.15am
Wednesday 7th January 2026 at 9.15am

Applying for a Reception place for September 2026
Please note that, as we are a community school, Surrey County Council is the admission authority for Prior Heath. If your child was born between 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022, you will need to apply for a September 2026 Reception place in an infant or primary school between 3rd November 2025 and 15th January 2026. The quickest and easiest way to apply for a school place is online. Waiting List
As a community school, Surrey County Council manage our waiting list. Your child’s name will be placed on the waiting list(s) of any Surrey community or voluntary controlled school which you listed as a higher preference on your application form. They will make primary offers as places become available and if your child is eligible for an offer they will contact you. Your child’s name will remain on the waiting list(s) until the end of the academic year.
