September 2021 Admissions

If your child has been offered a Reception place at Prior Heath in September 2021, we look forward to welcoming you to our school.

An induction process will take place, however, at this point in time due to the current circumstances we cannot be specific about how and when.   We will be writing to you at the end of April requesting information about your child which we would ask you to complete and return to us as soon as possible as this will enable us to prepare for your child’s entry to school.  As soon as we are in a position to provide information about induction arrangements, we will contact you.

In the meantime, please ensure you accept or decline the offer of a place by 30th April 2021, as detailed in the information you will have received from Surrey County Council Admissions.  Thank you.

Admissions information for prospective parents

Usually between September and January each year we run school tours for small groups of parents with our Headteacher, Lindsey Chivers.  Unfortunately, due to the current unprecedented circumstances relating to Covid-19, we were not able to run school tours or hold an open morning during the 2020/21 school year.  However, our prospectus can be found here (PDF, 934.62 kB) and we have filmed a virtual tour of the school which we hope will provide you with an insight into Prior Heath:

If you should have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school office by telephone: 01276 25546 or email: [email protected]

Waiting List

As a community school, Surrey County Council manage our waiting list.  Your child’s name will be placed on the waiting list(s) of any Surrey community or voluntary controlled school which you listed as a higher preference on your application form.  Due to increased call volumes following the Covid-19 outbreak, Surrey’s Admissions Team urge you not to call about your waiting list position.  They will make primary offers as places become available and if your child is eligible for an offer they will contact you.  Your child’s name will remain on the waiting list(s) until the end of the 2020/21 academic year.
