Governance

Governors have an important and active role in the life of the school.  They have the responsibility for strategic development and are accountable for the school’s performance.  The Full Governing Body (FGB) meet four times a year and operates a flat structure together with a Pay Committee.  Each governor has a designated role within the governing body and is responsible for monitoring this area. A set of the latest FGB meeting minutes is always available in the school office.  The Chair of governors provides a termly report for parents which can be found in the News section of the website and governors provide parents with summaries of their monitoring visits which are shared via ParentMail.  The Governing Body is made up of representatives of the Local Authority, community, parents and staff.  The governor strategy plan for 2025 to 2028 can be found here: Governor Strategy Plan 2025-28 (PDF, 59.58 kB)
